This restaurant is anything but ordinary. It is a great place to catch up with friends and family. The bar is located at: 990 Chapel St., and is open Tuesday–Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight.

2. The Trinity Bar and Restaurant

Take a trip to this restaurant to get an authentic feel of an Irish pub. It is a nice spot for friends who want to have a fun time and socialize. It is located at: 157 Orange St., and is open Monday–Tuesday from 4 p.m. to midnight; Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight; Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

3. Firehouse 12

What used to be a fire station is now a restaurant and music venue. Not only is it a nice, and intimate restaurant to socialize with friends, but it’s also known for its jazz music. It is located at: 45 Crown St., and is open Wednesday–Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight.

4. Delaney’s Restaurant and Tap Room

This spot is great for students to come in for a quick bite and to hang out with friends. It has a friendly atmosphere and hosts private events. It is located at: 883 Whalley Ave., and is open Monday–Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight; Friday–Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight.

5. Elm City Social

Here, you can mingle with friends and order food. It also hosts parties and patrons hang out on the balcony or rooftop. It is located at: 226 College St. and is open Monday–Thursday from 3 to 11 p.m.; Friday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight; Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
