More Than Pizza
Another pizza place that is nearby campus is More Than Pizza, located on 283 Blake St. Their hours are from noon to 2 a.m. on Sundays, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday – Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday – Saturday.
According to their website, More Than Pizza provides catering for different occasions, wraps, subs, regular sandwiches and salads. They also have different deals to offer, like their pick-up special deal that’s available from Sunday – Thursday, getting a large cheese pizza for $11.99.
Bella’s Café
Bella’s Café is on 896 Whalley Ave., about 0.8 miles from campus. With their hours, they have their breakfast all day menu from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday – Friday, and their brunch only menu on Saturdays and Sundays for the same hours, staying closed on Mondays.
According to their website, the café is set in the heart of the New Haven’s Westville community, following a stylish and cozy café theme. Some of their memorable dishes from their menus are things like “Italian Style French Toast” and “Shrimp and Grits.”
House of Chao
House of Chao is on 898 Whalley Ave., about 0.8 miles from campus. Their hours are 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays, staying closed on Mondays.
