Editors Letter:

Crescent Magazine is an award-winning publication, covering students for students. This is the 12th edition, which strives to highlight the unique perspectives and interesting lives of undergraduate students.

In this edition, we highlight students who embody diversity, challenges and showcase our motto: Southern Strong.

We share with students those who’ve created computer science projects and small jewelry businesses. And for the first time, we offer students a complete look at an average 24-hour day on campus; highlighting the unique day to day lives of students involved in sports, student government and commuting to campus.

We’d like to say thank you to the current staff and the contributors who made this edition possible. Without their hard work and hours of dedication to sharing these stories with students, it would not have been possible. We would also like to thank our advisers, Profs. Cindy Simoneau and Jodie Gil of the Journalism Department and our layout consultant, Thea Moritz, an adjunct professor of journalism and art.

Seven articles have video packages that we share with our readers to view on our website: crescentmagazine.org

Follow us on Instagram to get updates during the creation process throughout the semester: @crescentmagazinescsu

Staff note: Special thanks and congratulations to our graduating seniors on the staff: Destene Savariau, Managing Editor and Robert Hahn, Online/Video Editor.
