Academic Science and Laboratory Building
There are hidden gems located in our very own new science building. From each room, you have a nice view of the rock garden that is in front of the building. There are even small study rooms where students can focus and get work done. In the study rooms, there are several tables and chairs all around the building. They are in natural light during, the day and double as both inviting social areas and study areas.
The wall along Engleman Hall
This as the spot to sit between classes, but what makes it underrated is that there is a community of people that hang out there. During the warmer months, the sun hits the bricks, warming them just enough to sit and enjoy some vitamin D.
Adanti Student Center Fireplace Lounge
This is the place to take naps during those annoying long breaks between classes. In the middle of the lounge area is a giant fireplace. There are two long couches, that capture the fireplace’s warmth. Outlets on the floor next to the couches provide easy access for charging phones and laptops. All that is needed is a backpack and a jacket, which can easily substitute as a pillow and blanket. Not to mention, this room has at least a dozen more single lounge chairs, with two tables and a great aerial view of the campus.
Hilton C. Buley Library Fourth Floor
The Hilton C. Buley Library fourth floor is a perfect place to hide away. The spot that is most underrated is behind the giant clock. The clock, which lights up at night, overlooks the whole quad.
Centennial Courtyard
The four benches between Morrill and Jennings halls can be a calm area to read a book, or to listen to music between classes. Although it is a better spot in the spring, with the cherry trees
blossoming over the four stone benches, it is still a spot less traveled by students. As it gets warmer, this spot is a great area to unwind.
