Stuffed animals are common items students bring to the university to help them feel comfortable in their residence hall living spaces. These soft, and lovable, toys can be found on residents’ beds or hanging on their desks. This dorm essential leaves rooms looking welcoming and more personalized.

 

2. LED lights

LED lights are a popular essential since they can turn a plain room into something bright and colorful. They can be found hanging on residents’ walls to bring both personality and character. This dorm essential turns rooms into the best late night hangout spots for students.

3. Storage Bins Full of Snacks

Resident students have full bins of their favorite snacks to keep them satisfied. A yummy essential is helpful for when students are studying and need something small to fuel their brains. Snacks residents might store are chips, cookies, granola bars and candy.

4. Posters

Plain walls are overrated; put a picture on it. Posters and pictures are used to decorate dorm rooms to show personalities of resident students. They make rooms feel more like home typically hang up photos of their family and friends.

5. Video games

These dorm essentials keep students entertained and help relieve school stress. Playing games in the dorms help build friendships with fellow students and to unwind from assignments together. Gaming consoles can also serve that purpose, connecting students with online friends and family members at home.
