FACE Models, short for “fashionable artistic creative elegance,” is an organization offering the opportunity for fashion oriented students to model in shows, photo shoots, promotions and more. President Monique Harriott, an IDS major, says FACE welcome all shapes, shades and sizes.

If students wish to pursue modeling outside of school, this organization will broaden their horizon while allowing them to be involved on campus.

“The ultimate goal is for students to gain confidence and share their passion with others who have similar interests,” says Harriott.

Harriott aims to  run her own  business, with the same goals of self-appreciation, and success in modeling.

According to Harriott, a large number of FACE members practice or plan to practice in modeling outside of the organization.

“In the future, hopefully, FACE will be more than an organization,” Harriott says, “but more so an agency, involving more neighboring cities or states.”

Southern’s Photography Club worked with FACE to document fashion shows on campus in October 2017, and for promotion materials, as shown in these photos.
