1. Week of Welcome

Week of Welcome, or W.O.W., is a way for new students to get acclimated to their new classes, peers and surroundings. This weeklong event happens the first week of the school year and is filled with events catering to freshmen and transfer students helping them feel more comfortable on campus. 

2. Student Involvement Fair

The Student Involvement Fair, sometimes referred to as the Club Fair, is a way for new and returning students to figure out what they are interested in and pursue it in a group. All clubs or organizations line the walkways of the Academic Quad promoting and advertising their clubs.

3. Fall Fest

Every fall, this autumn-themed event is filled with food, activities and music. It is one of the biggest events. A place to meet people and enjoy the cool weather. In addition to Fall Fest, there are also fall-themed events held by clubs.

4. Greek Events

There are 11 Greek life organizations on campus. Recruitment period is an opportunity to join or see what these campus groups have to offer and their philanthropic efforts. The sororities are: Delta Phi Epsilon, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Omega Zeta Pi, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho and Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha. The fraternities are Alpha Phi Delta, Beta Mu Sigma, Tau Kappa Epsilon, Latino America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon and Phi Beta Sigma.

5. Fall Sports

There are many Division II teams to cheer on. Some fall sports are field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer and cross country.
